Update:

911 Service across the United States is back online.

At around 9:30 p.m. ET, Minneapolice police announced that service has been restored across the country.

It is still unknown what the initial cause of the outage was or whether it was related to the recent outage in Microsoft Office 365 services. Most affected counties saw a restoration of service within 30 to 60 minutes of the reported outage.
